A 55-year-old Grantham man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for controlling and coercive behaviour, assault, and ill treatment of children.

Andrew Hack, from Gorse Road in Grantham, was arrested in October 2022 following allegations of coercive and controlling behaviour towards his wife and assault of his now adult children.

Trial and conviction

Following investigation, Hack was found guilty on 13 March 2026 after a trial at Lincoln Crown Court. He appeared for sentencing on 10 July 2026. The guilty verdict covered 13 charges in total.
