An elderly man is seeking to thank a young woman who paid his gas and electric bill at Princess Drive post office in Grantham on Tuesday 15 September after his card failed to work.
The man had gone into the post office to settle his bill, but encountered a problem when attempting to pay. The young woman standing behind him in the queue stepped in and offered to cover the cost using her own card.
He did not exchange contact details with her at the time and has since been unable to repay her for the gesture. Anyone who believes they may have been the woman involved, or who thinks they know who she is, is asked to get in touch so the message can be passed on.
