TRYAC Ltd is recruiting an apprentice electrician for its Electrical Contracting Department. The role is open to school leavers finishing Year 11 who want to start a career in the electrical industry.
The apprenticeship lasts four years and combines block-release attendance at Lincoln College with practical on-the-job training at TRYAC Ltd. The programme is managed by JTL, one of the UK's leading work-based learning providers for the electrical industry. On successful completion, apprentices will achieve an internationally recognised electrical qualification.
Entry Requirements
Candidates must have four GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above, including Maths, English and Science. They must also successfully complete the JTL entry assessment and pass a colour vision test.
About the Role
TRYAC Ltd's Electrical Contracting Department undertakes electrical installations in grain stores, potato stores, industrial units, offices and general-purpose buildings. The department also handles reactive electrical breakdowns, fault finding, and electrical inspection and testing of installations.
Pay and How to Apply
Apprentices will be paid the Government's minimum apprentice wage, with salary increasing as skills, knowledge and qualifications develop throughout the apprenticeship.
