Specsavers at The Isaac Newton Centre in Grantham has donated high-visibility vests to 10th Grantham Rainbows, helping the young group stay visible during outdoor activities and community projects.

The vests will be worn by the children as they take part in activities throughout the year, improving visibility to road users and others in the community.

Why the donation matters

Colin Ducker, director at the locally owned and run Specsavers store, said: "The team are keen to support the local community whenever we can. We hope that the vests will provide some peace of mind for guardians and for the volunteers who look after the children when they are taking part in outdoor activities."
