Grantham Bike Night attracted more than 1,200 bikes and around 3,000 visitors on a summer evening in August 2026. The free event took place in the Grantham Market Place events area and surrounding streets.

South Kesteven District Council, which organised the event, said the attendance reflected positive feedback and strong support from across the region. Visitors travelled from as far as Boston and Yorkshire to attend.

Entertainment and attractions

The event featured live music from Wild Summer, Castella, D!abla, and Band From County Hell. Motorbike enthusiasts, specialist traders, bike clubs and vendors exhibited vehicles and goods throughout the evening.

Cllr Paul Stokes, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure, said: "Grantham Bike Night has once again been a fantastic success and it was brilliant to see bikes and visitors turning out in their thousands to enjoy everything the evening had to offer."

"The sunshine, live entertainment and incredible atmosphere made it a real celebration for the town," he added.

Background

The event built on the popularity of the inaugural Bike Night held the previous year and is designed to appeal to all ages.

South Kesteven District Council thanked local bike clubs for helping to run the free event smoothly.
