Funhouse Comedy Club is returning to Grantham Railway Social Club on Thursday 26 November with a line-up headlined by Ignacio Lopez.
Lopez is a Spaniard/Welshman who has appeared on Live at The Apollo and Have I Got News For You. He has performed for the Wales football squad and opened for James Dean Bradfield of Manic Street Preachers. His material centres on sarcastic observations and witty commentary, often exploring what it means to be an outsider and explaining cultural differences.
Full line-up
Opening the night is Barry Castagnola, a writer, actor and comedian who has written for BBC's Ask Rhod Gilbert and created characters for Dom Joly's ITV show Fool Britannia. Castagnola recently served as opening act on Greg Davies' UK tour and is known for self-deprecating anecdotes and an amiable stage presence.
Also performing is Peter Brush, a deadpan comedian and BBC New Comedy Award finalist. Brush has written for BBC Radio 4's The News Quiz and has supported Arthur Smith and Stephen K Amos on tour. His material draws out oddities in everyday life through imaginative wordplay and unconventional thinking.
Spiky Mike will compere the event.
