Funhouse Comedy Club is returning to Grantham Railway Social Club on Thursday 29 October for an evening of stand-up comedy. Doors open at 7.15pm with the show starting at 8.00pm.
The line-up
Tom Ward, an award-winning comedian from London, will headline the night. Ward has supported Jack Whitehall, Jason Manford and Joe Lycett on tour. He is known for his observational style and conversational delivery, and has appeared on Live at The Apollo, QI and The Stand Up Sketch Show.
The opening act is Raul Kohli, known as Indian Geordie, a finalist in English Comedian of the Year and nominee for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival. Kohli is described as a high-energy comic with stories about his culture and upbringing.
Mad Ron, a character act performer, will also appear. His act features complaints about modern developments such as vaping and email, delivered in an unapologetic style.
Laurie Brewster will complete the line-up with his quick wit and concise punchlines. Spiky Mike will compere the night.
